You know we love nothing more than a great adventure and a road trip is the best way to see the most as you drive along to your destination. A good road trip always begins with a plan but just as important is the vehicle that you take along on the journey. Lucky for us, GMC let us test drive the all new 2024 GMC Yukon Denali on our road trip to Las Vegas!

Ride in style with this awesome interior

There are so many key features to love about the Yukon Denali, for me, I love the sleek style design of the Yukon and the interior is so beautiful that I did not want to step outside. Inside you will find the 16-way power front seats with a massage feature to die for. Seriously there is no smoother ride then relaxing and getting a massage on the road. The Alpine Umber Interior with Full-Grain Leather Seats front seats were also a plus, the ventilated seats came in handy in the Nevada dessert. With so many beautiful sites to see, you don’t want to miss them at all, GMC has you covered with a panoramic sunroof. We were able to see the beautiful mountains and the stars in the night sky, we didn’t miss anything. On a long road trip, you also need some good music to keep you entertained and the Premium Bose System can handle that with no problem. Hubby loved the first row head-restraint speakers. Storage is key as well with a long road trip and with the power sliding center console we had extra space for all of our essentials that we needed at arms reach.

The Yukon is designed to stand out from the crowd and boy does it ever. When you have a feature called “Vader Chrome grille” you know it will command attention and when people see the Denali rolling down the road in the 22-inch wheels, it is sure to turn some heads. This is a large vehicle and I am 5 feet tall lol so you know i am in need of assistance getting in. I didn’t have to worry about it at all with the power retractable assist steps with LED, as soon as we open the door, the steps slide out to help you in and out. The overall look of the Yukon Denali Ultimate is one that you will not get over any time soon, there are always new features to discover.

Is Technology one of the items on your check list?

You can trust that you will travel with a high level of confidence when inside the Denali. Super Cruise is a feature that my husband always enjoys. You can travel hands-free and it also allows for automatic lane changing which is an awesome feature to see as it is happening. The head-up display is so helpful when driving, no need to look down when key information is directly displayed onto the windshield. The included 10.2 inch Premium GMC Infotainment System with built in Google and Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility comes in handy way more than you would think, no need to fumble around with wires when your phone can connect wirelessly. If you ask Abigail and Aubrey what they love most about the Yukon, they will definitely say the rear-seat media system. They loved being able to stream their favorite apps on the 12.6 inch touchscreens and being able to listen with the wireless GMC headsets while hubby and I listened to our favorite music.

Now can the Denali perform?

Oh, I know it can with the impressive 6.2L V8 engine, it certainly has the power to handle anything. While we explored Red Rock State Park, the Yukon was able to handle all the different terrains that we threw in its way. I mean, what is the point of having all of these features and power if you aren’t going to test them out. the 420 horsepower helped us get up and down the 13 mile loop windy road. It was such a smooth and controlled ride that we easy forgot we were in the dessert. The four-corner air ride adaptive suspension allowed us to adjust to all driving conditions, from the mountains to the streets of Las Vegas, there was nothing the Yukon couldn’t do.

We had the best time exploring the Nevada dessert and thanks to the 2024 GMC Yukon Denali, we knew there was no obstacle that would get in our way that the Denali couldn’t handle.
