Looking for the best place to stay when visiting Las Vegas, Nevada? We found the best resort just minutes away from the Las Vegas strip and many other local attractions. Located just outside of the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, we found Suncoast Hotel & Casino. Here you will find everything you need from dinning, gaming, bowling, movie theater and much more.
Amenities
Looking for deluxe accommodations? At Suncoast, we found that and much more. From the moment we stepped into our suite, we knew we were in for a treat. We got to stay in the Presidential Suite and the views were second to none. The suite was covered with wall to wall windows so no matter what room you were in, you got a beautiful view of the area. We had the best view of the golf course and also Red Rock State Park. This room was perfect for our family, the girls had their own room and tub while hubby and I had our master suite with our own jacuzzi tub. We also had a beautiful living room area where we could all sit and enjoy a movie and also a large dinning table to enjoy our meals.
Gaming
When it comes to gaming, Suncoast also has you covered. Suncoast’s spacious 80,000-square-foot casino features hundreds of the hottest new video poker and slot machines. Suncoast also has a High Limit Room with all new Reels and Video Poker machines where you can bet up to $250 per spin. This area of the casino is beautiful with an impressive chandelier and the High Limit Bar which features exquisite hand-crafted cocktails. Suncoast also offers a 150-seat Race and Sports Book where you can check out your favorite sporting events. It features a giant screen and 22 big screen televisions where you wont miss any of the action. Can’t forget about the daily action packed Bingo sessions, Suncoast offers six daily sessions that are sure to keep any Bingo enthusiast happy.
Looking to Relax?
If you are also looking for ways to relax in between all of the gaming, Suncoast has plenty of amenities to help you out. The outdoor resort pool area offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and offers plenty of areas to relax or enjoy some fun games. We enjoyed our time at the pool, it was a perfect way to relax, enjoy the water and there was plenty of seating areas to lounge and enjoy a drink from “The Cove”. The Cove offers a full service bar and food to enjoy. This outdoor area also had a larger than life chess board and checkers board, table tennis, shuffleboard and foosball. There is plenty here to keep you entertained as well.
Dining Options
All that gaming and pool fun will definitely work up an appetite. Luckily at Suncoast, there is a large selection of dining experiences to satisfy your craving. Suncoast offers everything from William B’s Steakhouse, 90 NINETY Bar + Grill for your classic Burgers and pizza, Taste of Asia which offers a Saturday Buffet and Du-par’s which has been offering American style food since 1938 plus many more restaurants.
Du-par’s
Du-par’s is one of the places that we tried and let me tell you the food did not disappoint. We tried everything from bbq ribs, steak, hamburgers and fish and chips. The portions are huge which is always welcome and the quality was delicious. Don’t forget to try one of their many pastries as well, they offer everything from muffins, pies and donuts.
90 NINETY Bar + Grill
90 NINETY Bar + Grill has a great atmosphere, a relaxed setting with many options that you can share with your group. Here we enjoyed some delicious carne asada fries, steak, burgers and pizza. We loved how the staff knew all of the menu items and were helpful with suggesting items for us to try. That is how we found out about the carne asada fries that were not on the menu. Make sure to ask for these, you won’t regret it.
Surrounding Area
Everywhere we go, we always look for areas to explore and hike, Las Vegas was no different. Just 15 minutes away you will find Red Rock State Park. This state park offers plenty of trails for you to explore. When you explore the park, you will travel along the 13 mile loop with scenic views and places to stop and explore. This is one state park that we definitely recommend and it is only 15 minutes from Suncoast. Make sure to visit the Red Rock State Park website and book a reservation before heading there. Reservations do sell out and you don’t want to miss your opportunity to explore this area.
We had an amazing time at Suncoast Hotel & Casino, it offered so many things for everyone in the family to enjoy. Thank you Suncoast for hosting us during our Las Vegas trip, we had the best time exploring the casino and everything it had to offer. We can’t wait to come back and do it again. Be sure to visit Suncoast Hotel & Casino to book your next Vegas trip.
