Have you taken a trip up to Big Bear, California yet? If you haven’t, this is your sign to book a trip and I have the perfect cabin for you to stay at, especially if you are traveling with a big group of family/friends.

Over the weekend we made our way to Big Bear with our friends. It was a total of ten of us staying together in the same cabin. I know that sounds like a lot of people but let me tell you this cabin was so spacious and cozy that we all ended up leaving extremely happy!

So, let me tell you all about The Bigfoot Cabin! This cabin fits fifteen people comfortably! This 5 bedroom, reverse floor plan home has plenty of room for everyone!  The entry level features a beautiful entryway leading to the kitchen, living room and three of the bedrooms off a quiet hallway.

This Big Bear Cabin has a living room which is highlighted by the large windows, wood burning fireplace and knotty pine vaulted ceilings throughout the great space.  Enjoy an evening of watching TV with cable or bring your favorite movies as they also have a DVD player.

The spacious kitchen was probably where we spent most of our time as we enjoyed cooking for our families and kiddos! The kitchen is fully loaded with a stove, microwave, dishwasher and a coffee pot (guests must provide their own k-cups).

Step out to the back deck for a breath of fresh mountain air.  The front deck has a nice covered seating area, propane barbecue and large hot tub which we enjoyed relaxing in after a day of hiking!

Now for the kids and big kids okay everyone’s absolute favorite part of this cabin was the family room! It had a theater that we enjoyed and had a movie night and it also has arcade games! that was located with seating, back deck and yard access, wood burning stove, TV with cable and DVD player and a pool table.  A highlight of the space is the beautiful bar with stained glass and wood carvings.  A 3/4 bathroom and washer and dryer are on this level for your convenience.  Two more bedrooms can be found through a small hallway.  One bedroom has two queen over queen bunks, TV with cable and a gas fireplace.  The last bedroom has a king bed and TV with cable.

The Bigfoot Cabin has everything, you won’t want to leave the cabin! If you’re an adventurer like us you might want to explore outside the cabin! The beauty of staying here is that it is in the center of so many fun places. A four minute drive to Big Bear Lake and a few gorgeous lake hikes, five minutes to grocery stores like Vons and Stater Brothers, nine minutes away from a Bowling alley, a slide/water-slide park and a fun little gold panning shop which all the kids enjoyed!
