Is This The Best All-Terrain Truck We Ever Had?

One thing that we enjoy about traveling is not just the destination but the journey. Some of the places we have visited have had beautiful scenic roads and this Big Bear trip was no different. Driving up to Big Bear is an experience on its own. It is such an amazing sight to see when you are driving up the mountain while being surrounded by nature. Every twist and turn gives you an opportunity to see a different part of the mountain.

We were excited that GMC let us test drive the all-new 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X on our trip. We had such a smooth ride going up the mountain, the Sierra took every turn with ease, and we all were very comfortable inside. You can tell comfort was a priority for GMC when it came to the Sierra 1500. The double cabin provided plenty of space and leg room for both the front and back passengers. The beautiful genuine letter seats were extremely comfortable and had the option to cool and heat your seats. It doesn’t stop there; the front seats also had a massage feature that you could control at the touch of a button. This was such a great feature since a trip can be long and put some strain on your body. These seats were very relaxing. The amount of storage inside the GMC Sierra was a bonus. There is storage everywhere you look, from the doors, the center console and even below and inside the back seats.

Moving to the back of the truck, we had plenty of space in the truck bed for all our luggage, you know I can’t pack lightly with outfit changes lol. We could of fit everyone’s luggage in our truck and still had extra room. There are plenty of anchor points in the truck bed that you can use to secure any cargo that you are carrying. Oh and the Sound system in the rear bed door was a nice addition along with the door folding into steps to make it easy to get in and out of the truck. This was one of my husband’s favorite feature since it made it easy to climb in and out of the truck bed to move things around instead of having to lift everything to push across the bed. We even had a nice lunch and dance party back there lol.

Technology is always on my husband’s mind and the Sierra 1500 delivers with the 13.4-inch touch screen. It has everything you need right at your fingertips. You have access to all of your audio media, phone, built in Google and view of the 14 different cameras installed throughout the truck. Google Maps was a breeze to use, and the Google Assistant was such a great help to search for locations with your voice instead of having to type your location while driving. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is also included which is a must in this day and age.
