Omni La Costa has got to be your next coastal destination. Whether you are looking for a family getaway, quick staycation or traveling for work, Omni has everything you need. Surrounded by natural beauty and tucked away in a secluded area of Carlsbad, Omni La Costa Resort & Spa offers an exclusive experience to relax your mind, body and soul.

This resort had us lost for words, the amount of attention to detail throughout the resort is unbelievable. You feel like you are in a different country with beach vibes as you see all the palm trees and the Poinsettia flowers that you can see throughout the resort just catch your eye.

During this holiday season, Omni La Costa has gone all out, everywhere you look throughout the resort you will see all the attention to detail. There are Christmas trees throughout the whole resort, bright colors in every direction especially with Poinsettias in full display and holiday celebrations for everyone to enjoy. We had a lot of fun during their “Sip and Snowflakes” experience where you can enjoy some hot chocolate and s’mores while the night sky is covered with snow. They also have something called “Reel Holiday Nights” where you can enjoy a movie on the big screen that covers the lawn.

My favorite part of the holiday celebration is the over the top pop up bar called Blitzen’s that is located on site. The amount of Christmas decorations is something you have to see for yourself. This is a great place to mingle with others as you enjoy some delicious drinks and mocktails surrounded by holiday cheer! This was one of the best experiences that I’ve had, walking in and seeing everyone so cheerful and enjoying each others company was awesome.

Omni La Costa offers various types of rooms that are perfect for any size family or individuals. The room that we stayed in was very spacious, it had comfortable beds with beautiful views of the golf course as the sun was rising. Seriously, it was awesome being able to step onto our balcony and have a view of a championship golf course. The large spa tub felt like heaven when I wanted to relax after a long day, it was the perfect place to lay down and soak in the bubbles. The large shower was also amazing with the rainfall shower head. Abigail and Aubrey had plenty of room to play around and enjoyed a good night sleep in their bed.

Fun for the family on site? You better believe it. With over 8 distinct pools throughout the property, there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. What was Abigail and Aubrey’s favorite place? It had to be the splash pad area and the TWO awesome 100-foot waterslides, hubby also enjoyed the slides as he zoomed down fast!

Even when you need something to eat Omni La Costa has you covered. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Bob’s steak and chop shop, where we tried everything from Calamari, salad and some amazing steaks. Need something for lunch? Bar Traza is the perfect place to enjoy some drinks and appetizers while watching sports on the multiple TVs. Need something quick or a delicious coffee in the morning? The marketplace is the perfect place to head to for some quick grab and go items, Omni has it all.

If you are like me and enjoy the coastal vibes and that look and feel of a European country, then Omni La Costa is waiting for you! Thanks @OmniLaCosta for such a memorable stay.
