If you didn’t know, I am a working mommy. The beauty of the career I choose is that I only work 181 days a year. As an educator and a district employee, I have the opportunity of being home with my daughters when they are on school break. We adventured out to many fun places these past three weeks while on Winter break. This week being the last week of winter break, I wanted to make sure we made memories as a family. We decided to have a mini staycation in beautiful San Diego and stayed at an amazing, kid friendly Airbnb. This home is named Kids Paradise and let me tell you, it lives up to its name!

Let me start off by mentioning how sweet and thoughtful Carrie the Airbnb host is! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! We knew she was always a text away, not like we needed to text her much since this home had everything we needed and more, but it is always good to know you can text a host. Carrie is listed as a superhost on Airbnb which means she has been rated as experienced, highly rated and committed to providing great stays for guests and I 100% agree!

Now let’s talk about the house! It is stylish with modern designs. This home is perfect for a couple of families to enjoy a family or friends getaway together as the house fits twelve people comfortably (six adults, four children and two infants in cribs).

Let me tell you about all the rooms! Hubby and I stayed in the Master bedroom. The master bedroom comes with a king Restoration Hardware bed and believe me when I say, it was so comfortable that I did not want to wake up! The master bathroom also has a large shower which has full bottles of shampoo and conditioner, one less thing you need to worry about bringing.

The second bedroom had a queen bed which had a zero gravity adjustable/electric mattress and a full size crib. While the third bedroom had a smart tv and a queen bed and a small toddler bed.

Now for the fourth bedroom and our twin daughters’ favorite room, it is the perfect room for a kids slumber party! It has four custom bunk beds. This room also had stuffed animals and toys for the kiddos to play with while hanging out in this room. I will say that my husband wanted to sleep there when he saw the big Pokémon Charizard stuffed animal lol.

What was my favorite part of this Kids Paradise? It is not only the perfect place for kids but the adults get to have some backyard fun as well! This home has a pool and it is solar heated to 90F upon request! We made sure to let Cassey know we wanted to use the pool as soon as we got to the house and she made sure the pool was warm for us when we arriving, it is also a salt water pool which was really cool! It is fenced all around, which gave me the peace of mind to let the girls play in the backyard without worrying about them possibly falling into the pool. We brought our daughters life vests and to our surprise the house had several boy and girl life vests available. They also had fun floaties and pool noodles for us to use. This house also has a spa/jacuzzi that we enjoyed! It was also heated of course and it was perfect when the sun started going down and the wind got a bit chili.

Here are other things to make your stay even more enjoyable! The house has high chairs, walkers, toys, strollers. It is located 10 minutes away from all you need in San Diego from Beaches, airport, Sea World, San Diego Zoo. Full Gourmet Kitchen stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee makers, blender, toaster, pots, pans, place settings and serving pieces. Coffee and tea is provided together with oatmeal. All Towels and Linens provided. In-house Laundry (soap and softener provided). There’s a BBQ grill in the backyard. Pool/Beach Towels provided. If you are planning on visiting the beach, Beach toys, Umbrella and Chairs are provided! The house Includes internet, cable TV (at no extra charge)

We had a great time and we can not wait to plan a summer stay when I am off for summer break! I highly recommend staying in this house if you are planning a San Diego vacation!
