I enjoy living in the Inland Empire and exploring all our surrounding cities. Trying out new restaurants is one of our new favorite things to do. We had the opportunity to visit The Mexico Café in Temecula and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Being Mexican means being picky on where I chose to eat Mexican food. Let me share with you our experience eating at The Mexico Café.

I love a restaurant that automatically brings you water, chips, and salsa to the table, which is what we experienced. Water was brought as soon as we sat down and so were the chips. Our waiter brought out several different salsas for us to try, we loved them all. We then ordered a guacamole on the side to go with the chips and salsa and it was every avocado fans dream, especially when you are mixing the guacamole with different salsas. I had the Enchiladas de Langosta (2) which are two seasoned grilled lobster enchiladas covered with delicious green Chile sauce and topped with aged jack cheese. Yes, you read that right LOBSTER ENCHILADAS! They were to die for, oh my goodness so creamy and cheesy! I would highly recommend you trying them, especially if you love lobster as much as I do. My husband tried their Carnitas Burrito and he was very satisfied with what he ordered. The burrito came with marinated pork and refritos wrapped in a flour tortilla. Served with guacamole and Pico de Gallo. We ordered loaded fries for our daughters but we all ended sharing and eating them all up! It came with fries, layered with delicious refritos and topped with melted cheddar cheese, vine-ripened tomatoes, green onion and black olives. Served with guacamole and sour cream on the top. So tasty and they were perfect for all of us to share.

With all this delicious food, you need something to take it down with and their specialty drinks did not disappoint. Any drink you can think off they have or can make. We went with their blended drinks and they were not only delicious but the presentation is amazing. I would highly recommend you try their variety of mixed drinks.

When visiting Temecula I encourage you stop and visit The Mexico Café for some delicious Mexican food. The service was fantastic; the restaurant itself is very welcoming and clean! The restaurant is gorgeous and had several opportunities to stop and take some great pictures. We had such a great time; we cannot wait to visit again.
